Gen. Norman Schwarzkopf may be a great military strategist, but he certainly does not know his football nomenclature.

When he called his dynamic ploy against the Iraqi forces a ”Hail Mary,” he was really asking for an ”end-around, strong side right.” This is where the team lines up as if to go to the right and runs left, attempting to trick the opposition. The former is strictly a straight-ahead pass with a wish for luck.

During his next schematic presentation of this military movement, he should really make note of this.
