A 19-year-old Elgin man has been charged with beating two men on the head with a baseball bat near a Bloomingdale restaurant, police said.
Khamchanh Pakhotama, of 250 Watch St., Elgin, was charged with aggravated battery and criminal damage to property, police said. He was released after posting a $2,500 bond.
The two Bensenville victims suffered head injuries and one had a fractured thumb, police said. An 18-year-old Itasca man also reported that a window had been broken on his car.
The brawl broke out near a McDonald`s at Stratford Square Mall about 11:30 p.m. Saturday, police said. Officers later arrested the suspects in a car at Lake and Oak Streets in Bartlett.
