That young boy who stole the $1,200 baseball card from the dealer for $12 probably wouldn`t have made a ripple a generation ago.

Back then his parents would have marched him back to the shop to return the card and offer his apology. A good lesson learned: Crime doesn`t pay.

Now, aided by his parents and lawyer, he not only kept the stolen card, but also deceived the shop owner by trading it away. And he`s suing for slander the very person he cheated and deceived! What lesson learned? Crime pays as long as you get a good lawyer.
