Let the vets decide. Instead of a parade down Michigan Avenue, why not put the $2 million to good use at a Veterans Administration hospital?

As a vet, it would bring tears to my eyes if new medical equipment were purchased, bathrooms or dayrooms were remodeled or a special lottery were set up for families of disabled soldiers.

Parades cost money. VA hospitals need money. I am not jealous. My brother served in Saudi Arabia. He agrees.
