Peter C. Pulos, 73, a physician for 35 years and past president of Oak Park Hospital, died Tuesday in Loyola University Medical Center, Maywood. A longtime resident of Oak Park, Dr. Pulos was past president of Oak Park Hospital and previous head of the hospital`s coronary care unit. He was chairman of the Chicago Medical Society grievance committee and a clinical instructor in medicine at the University of Illinois at Chicago. He was a Shriner and longtime member of Medinah Country Club. During World War II, Dr. Pulos served with Force 133 of the British Underground. He is survived by his wife, Marion; three daughters, Julie Karagianis, Dea Pappas and Barbara Zerfoss; a sister; and four grandchildren. Visitation will be from 3 to 9 p.m. Thursday in Salerno`s Galewood Chapels, 1857 N. Harlem Ave. Mass will be said at 11 a.m. Friday in Assumption Greek Orthodox Church, 601 S. Central Ave.
