As a self-proclaimed feminist, I was impressed first by your addition of TempoWoman, then its change to WomaNews, sans bridal and engagement announcements. Unfortunately, you left in a number of advertisements promoting vanity, that is: liposuction, breast implants, nose-jobs, electrolysis and the like.

The message I`m getting is, ”It`s okay (for women) to think, but remember, your looks are still your first priority!” Please, if you must include these ads, put them elsewhere and include more interviews, articles and editorials, like Fawn Fitter`s ”Her Say” (May 5). Let WomaNews support women as people, not objects!
