At 7 p.m. June 11, representatives of 15 American wineries in four states will pour 30 sparkling wines during a three-hour tasting at Pops for Champagne, 2934 N. – A tasting of Bordeaux wines from the admired 1988 vintage will be held from 6 to 9 p.m. June 10, at the Wine Discount Center, 1826 N. Elston Ave. Admission is $25 a person, with the first 50 people to arrive allowed to apply this amount toward a Bordeaux purchase. The event will be repeated June 11 at the Wine Discount Center, 7339 Madison St., Forest Park.
