Primus Corp. has broken ground on three models in the new Wedgefield neighborhood of Orchard Valley in west suburban Aurora.
The neighborhood, which includes 96 single-family home sites is part of the master-planned Orchard Valley community that will feature 990 homes when complete.
Orchard Valley offers an 18-hole, daily-fee golf course designed by nationally-known golf course architect Ken Kavanaugh of Tucson.
A clubhouse, community center and grade school will soon serve the community as well as a shopping center, according to Richard Faltz, president of Primus Corp.
Six floor plans include ranch and two-story designs priced from $144,900. The three designs which will be featured as models are under construction and will be completed in August. They include the Baldwyn ranch and the two-story Coventry and Foreston plans. Completion is scheduled for August.
