We are finding out the hard way that spending more money has not bettered education.
The key is what my ”old country” father told me when I first went to school: ”There are only two people in a classroom, you and your teacher. There is time enough after school to socialize. Never mind what they are saying or what they are wearing or doing. They won`t be there to help you get a job, or feed and clothe you. A wild hairdo, an earring and foul language won`t get you a job, but your teacher will.
So parents must push the ”one-on-one” game plan. One student, one teacher.
