Overnight camping will be allowed in a parking lot at the corner of Lake Shore Drive and Roosevelt Road, the Park District said Thursday.
The Park District made the announcement in response to requests by fans of the Grateful Dead, the San Francisco-based rock group that will perform Saturday night at Soldier Field.
Security teams will patrol the area and portable toilets will be provided, the Park District said.
