Howard Wald, 45, a women`s clothing salesman for 20 years, died Wednesday in his home in Wheeling. Mr. Wald had diabetes from the age of 16, and lost both of his legs and a kidney to the disease. A golfer, he won amputee golf tournaments at Hillcrest Country Club and around the region. He is survived by his parents, Seymour and Gloria; two brothers; and a grandmother. Services will be at 2 p.m. Friday in Weinstein Brothers Chapel, 111 Skokie Blvd., Wilmette.
