Max E. Schneider, 66, a retired photo-engraver, died Sunday in Swedish Covenant Hospital. He worked at Roto Print in Chicago for several years. He was a member and president for many years of the Schuhplattler Edelweiss Club, a Bavarian dance club. He is survived by his wife, Anna; two daughters, Mary Patton and Jeannette Spotts; two sons, Fred and Joseph; four grandchildren;
and a sister. Mass for Mr. Schneider was said Wednesday in St. Matthias Catholic Church, 2310 W. Ainslie St.
