Getting your Trinity Audio player ready...

My congratulations to you on the careful analysis and keen insight of your Bulls reporter, Sam Smith. Mr. Smith, acutely aware of basketball statistics and team chemistry, cleverly pointed out that the Bulls would lose in the playoffs because only three of their players scored in double figures this year. As Mr. Smith pointed out, historically teams with three double-scoring players have not won championships. And, said Mr. Smith, teams with the league`s leading scorer also don`t win championships.

I would also like to commend Sam Smith for selecting David Robinson as the league MVP, for the logical reason that the Spurs without Robinson are worse than the Bulls without Jordan.

I would love to know what new insights Mr. Smith might provide if he actually saw the Bulls play.
