Once again the House of Representatives, in their infinite wisdom and all-consuming concern for their constituents, has approved the expenditure of $80 million as personal mail allowance for themselves. That`s approximately $183,000 per representative, so they can deluge us with congressional jabberwocky defining their effulgent accomplishments. In truth, their accomplishments can more correctly be called effluvial and could be itemized on a postal card.
Will anyone actually read the laudatory claptrap this campaign year will bring forth? Remember, you have the gratuitous privilege of paying for it.
