A rape victim has been awarded $10 million in an out-of-court settlement recently with Dallas-based Motel 6. The victim, a photographer in her early 20s, was assaulted and robbed by three men on parole as she tried to leave her Ft. Worth motel room in 1988. The suit charged insufficient security and lack of concern for guests.
