My disillusionment over the appeal of some military vehicle sitting in one`s driveway was overshadowed by the thought of seeing one on the highway. If your recent front-page statistics are factual about the Hum-vee, the High- Mobility Multi-purpose Wheeled Vehicle being offered to the public by a defense contractor, Arnold Schwarzenegger and his 1,000 or so followers might want to reconsider spilling out $44,000 on a gas-guzzler that only gets 12 m.p.g. on the highway.
Mr. Schwarzenegger should know it`s more ”cool” to be environmentally aware than it is to play G.I. Joe (outside of Hollywood).
