Adelbert B. Grout, 89, of Glen Ellyn, retired assistant vice president of the Harris Trust and Savings Bank in Chicago, died Sunday in Central Du Page Hospital, Winfield. Mr. Grout, who had lived in the Wheaton-Glen Ellyn area since 1943, worked for Harris Bank for 44 years. He is survived by his son, Gordon S.; a brother; three grandchildren; and five great-grandchildren. Visitation will be from 6 to 9 p.m. Wednesday in Hanerhoff-Hultgren Funeral Home, 304 N. Main St., Wheaton. A Masonic service will be held there at 7:30 p.m. Wednesday. Graveside services will begin at 11 a.m. Thursday with a funeral cortege from the funeral home to Mt. Emblem Cemetery, 510 W. Grand Ave., Elmhurst.
