Lena D. Daniels, 53, a cashier for the Canteen Corp. in Tribune Tower, died Wednesday in the University of Chicago Hospitals from complications from a liver transplant. Born and raised in Chicago, Mrs. Daniels was a graduate of Du Sable High School. She worked for Canteen for 14 years until her recent illness. Mrs. Daniels is survived by two sons, Carl and William; two grandchildren; and one sister. Visitation will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday in Ingleside-Whitfield United Methodist Church, 929 E. 76th St. Services will be held at 11:30 a.m. in the church.
