Mickey Mandel, 87, former owner of an auto repair service, died Wednesday in St. Francis Hospital, Evanston. Mr. Mandel owned Accurate Auto and Ignition Service. He founded the company in 1934 and operated it until 1979. He also owned, repaired and exhibited antique cars and won awards for his restoration work. He was an Army veteran of World War II. He is survived by his wife, Mildred; a son, Jerome; a daughter, Tobyann; three grandchildren; a brother;
and a sister. Services were held Friday.
