In Greg Stanmar`s interesting and humorous ”A geographical state of confusion” (July 1), he states that his hometown of Peru, Ill., is 70 miles from the northern boundary and 330 miles from the southern end of Illinois.
From this statement one would gather that Greg is as geographically confused as his fellow Illinoisans. It is 80 miles from Peru to the northern boundary and 312 miles to the southernmost point in the state. Go measure!
