Agnes U. Guinter, 92, died Thursday in Wesley Willows Retirement Home, in Rockford. A longtime resident of Chicago, Mrs. Guinter was active in cultural, educational and civic organizations. Mrs. Guinter served as president of the Austin Women`s Club and was active in the national federation of women`s clubs. She served on the board and as president of the Montifiore School. She was a member of the local and state PTA and the League of Women Voters. Mrs. Guinter is survived by a son, Robert; a daughter, Betty Bergstrom; seven grandchildren; five great-grandchildren; three sisters; and a brother. Visitation for Mrs. Guinter will be from 2 to 4 p.m. Sunday in Rockford. Services will be Monday in Manitowoc, Wis.
