Leslie Shankman, 68, past president and board member of Leaf Inc., a candy company in Chicago, died Wednesday in his Highland Park home. Mr. Shankman also was a member of the board of directors of Alma-Leo
International, a candy company based in Highland Park. Mr. Shankman was president of the University of Chicago Foundation for Emotionally Disturbed Children. Mr. Shankman is survived by his wife, Sugar; two sons, Andrew and James; three grandchildren; and a brother. A memorial service will be held at 3 p.m. Friday in Lakeside Congregation, 1221 County Line Rd., Highland Park.
