In the Voice of the people of July 7 a reader observes that some charities spend most of the money they collect on themselves. This is outrageous. Who do these organizations think they are, the government?
Responsible charities will send detailed financial information on request, or you can look them up in the ”Guide to Wise Giving.” Unlike governments, they won`t send armed men to seize your property or lock you up if you choose not to contribute.
