Let`s hope the Tribune doesn`t knuckle under to the screeches of a bunch of unpleasant female activists. They get their way all too often.
They whine and screech and clamor until the object of their attacks gets tired and gives up. In this case they represent themselves as speaking for all women. They don`t.
Don`t be intimidated by them. Don`t believe them. Not even if a few thousand send angry letters. This is a drop in the bucket compared to all women in range of the Tribune readership. If a poll could be taken of all, I would bet that a big majority would vote favoring the new WOMANEWS section.
I`m a man, but I like it, read it with interest, often am enlightened by it. I oppose past and present unequal treatment of women for equal work, but I also oppose the irrationality of much of women`s ”lib.”
