Leona Grossman, director of social work at Michael Reese Hospital from 1971 to 1989, died July 6 in New York. Before coming to Chicago, Miss Grossman taught at the New York University School of Social Work from 1959 to 1970. In Chicago, she lived in the Hyde Park neighborhood. She moved back to New York last year. She has no immediate survivors. A memorial service will be held at 3:30 p.m. Thursday in the Rothschild Center, Humana Hospital-Michael Reese, 2816 S. Ellis Ave.
