Aw, pity the poor state lawmakers. They are only getting $77 per diem payments. How can they ever get by on that, what with the cost of the hotels, golf and entertainment they so desperately need while in session?
Rather than pay them the $77 per day, we ought to deduct $77 per day from their salaries for their inability to pass legislation within the time frame allotted.
