On July 13 we took a two-bus tour to see the President Riverboat Casino in Davenport, Iowa. However, when we got there the management notified us that, because of a generator breakdown, the boat would not leave the dock.
We found out later the generator had been out of service for over a week. This was ample time for the riverboat management to inform the tour directors in Illinois, who in turn could have notified the seniors taking the trip. To me this was deceitful on the part of the casino management. The boat ride was part of the trip and no cash rebate was given.
