Occupation: Actress.
Birthday: Feb. 22, 1971.
Birthplace: Manila.
Current home: New York.
Marital status: Single.
Car: I don`t drive.
Working on: I`m starring in ”Miss Saigon” on Broadway.
Worst job: Making a movie in Manila. People would have a 7:30 call and not saunter in until 11:30 or noon.
The last good movie I saw was: ”Ghost.”
I stay home to watch: MTV and VH-1.
The book I`ve been reading is: Julia Phillips` ”You`ll Never Eat Lunch in This Town Again.”
Favorite pigout food: I like to pick the broccoli out of beef and broccoli.
Favorite performer: Michael Jackson. He moves so that every eye is riveted on him.
Favorite childhood memory: Auditioning for ”Annie” when I was 8. My eyes were puffy from allergy attacks, and I wasn`t feeling very well, but I sang ”Tomorrow” and got the part.
Nobody knows I`m: A lot of people know I`m a vegetarian and an insomniac. I`ve never been able to: Roller-skate or ride a skateboard.
I`m better than anyone else when it comes to: Saying no to having a boyfriend. I haven`t had one yet. But then no one`s really asked me.
If I just had more time, I`d: See New York, finish college, have a life and have a boyfriend.
The one thing I can`t stand is: Working with a ”diva,” someone who acts like a big star, even though she`s not.
The worst time of my life: My 15th birthday. I was having a big party, and the Filipino People`s Revolution broke out that night and things started getting crazy. I thought, ”Why me?”
If I weren`t an actress: I`d be a senior in college, studying pre-med.
Major accomplishment: Winning the Tony award this year for Best Actress in a Musical.
My most humbling experience: Forgetting my lines on stage. I just try to ad-lib and tell myself that I`m human.
Three words that best describe me: Open, serious and disciplined.
