Alfred E. Bobowski, 76, former advertising director and national display manager for Sears, Roebuck and Co., died Tuesday in Snow Valley Living Center, Lisle. Mr. Bobowski spent 33 years at Sears. He also was a two-term trustee for the Village of North Riverside and was instrumental in the creation of the village`s youth baseball and Scout programs. He had been chairman of the Parents Association at Benet Academy in Lisle. Mr. Bobowski is survived by his wife, Norma; a son, Edward; a stepson, Lee Mungai; a stepdaughter, Lana Nuccio; and six grandchildren. Mass will be said at 10 a.m. Thursday in St. Joan of Arc Catholic Church, 820 Division St. Lisle.
