Yahya Seifullah, 46, who headed the Chicago office for U.S. Rep. Gus Savage (D-Ill.), died Sunday in Mercy Hospital. Rep. Savage called Mr. Seifullah, who was a leader in the Nation of Islam, ”a tireless worker whose selfless dedication to family, community, and job was immeasureable.” Savage also lauded Mr. Seifullah`s ”ongoing efforts to instill self-worth and values in the youth of Chicago.” Mr. Seifullah had worked for Savage for nine years. He is survived by his wife, Gloria, and five children. A memorial service is being planned.
