LaMorne Threet, 61, a 26-year member of the Chicago Police Department, died Friday in Northwestern Memorial Hospital. The South Side resident, who was born in Pine Bluff, Ark., graduated from Englewood High School and attended the University of Illinois at Chicago. He is survived by his wife, Theresa; daughter, LaMonica; five sisters, and five brothers. Arrangements were pending.
