The latest driving craze in Chicago is called ”avoid the tar bumps and mounds.” It is played out every day on a stretch of Central Ave. between 59th and 63rd Streets.

This condition is caused by a shoddy paving job covering the sewer construction that dragged on for the previous year. If we wait for a few more weeks the street will be leveled by snow plows and we can return to normal.
