Rights activist Peg Yorkin says she is putting her money where her mouth is by giving $10 million-”a nice, round figure”-to the Feminist Majority Foundation, a group she founded in 1987. The gift will be used, Yorkin says, to create a center to fight for, among other things, U.S. access to the French ”abortion” pill, RU 486, shown to be effective in reducing uterine fibroid tumors and in slowing breast cancer`s progression. ”We need to do more to protect women from disease than just tell them not to eat fat,”
