With all of the informed opinions the Tribune has printed, I am offended by the recent letter by Ed Tybor about his views on sexual harassment (”Go Clarence”). As a man, I am infuriated with his smug assertions on what
”normal women” want.
It doesn`t matter that a man of great stature ”hits” upon a woman. If it is unwelcome, the crime and the emotional intimidation that goes with it are the same.
I don`t believe that ”well-adjusted American males” who are secure in their own virility need to prove it by demeaning harassment of women.
