Many women seeking treatment for drug, alcohol or food dependencies at several treatment programs in Minneapolis and St. Paul also reported a history of incest or physical abuse, says Charlotte Kasl, a Minneapolis psychologist and author of ”Women, Sex and Addiction” (HarperCollins, $9.95). Kasl, who says some women use substances to survive their pain, will present a workshop on sexual addiction and co-dependency Friday and Saturday at the O`Hare Marriott Hotel.
