The gentleman from McHenry (Oct. 29) extrapolates the British numbers to an equivalent population and reaches the conclusion that British gun control isn`t working.

The problem is that he assumes 25 British officers are killed in the line of duty each year, whereas the article says these 25 were killed ”over the last decade.”

I thought it was common knowledge that British gun control works very well indeed.
