Fox Broadcasting Co. said it will become the nation`s first broadcast network to accept condom commercials, but only if they are promoted solely as a method to prevent transmission of AIDS. References to contraception will not be allowed, Fox spokeswoman Andi Sporkin said. The network`s announcement came less than a week after Los Angeles Lakers star Earvin ”Magic” Johnson revealed he had tested positive for the virus that causes AIDS.
