”If and when I retire, what am I going to do with myself to keep active? Who do I see or where can I get information to answer this question?” This question is asked by most retirees, either before or after they retire. Both men and women ask this question of themselves.

I think the answer is quite simple. I suggest that there should be a National Senior Information Service. A simple phone call by someone retired or ready to retire would connect the individual to an operator in a central office. After speaking with the operator, the person would be sent a printout of information pertaining to senior activities in his region in the United States.

An active senior is a far healthier person than an inactive one. Therefore, it is in the best interest of the U.S. government-both from a financial and productivity point of view-to see to it that all seniors are given the opportunity to choose an active lifestyle.
