I was extremely encouraged by your Oct. 21 editorial concerning the image of teenagers. As a junior in high school, I read every day about how teenagers have sex too soon, are binge alcoholics and drug fiends. Thus, I was quite elated when your editorial pointed out that today`s teens care about their environment, their education and their future.
Moreover, it was quite refreshing to read that not all teenagers are obsessed with drugs, sex and rock `n` roll.
