Nynex Corp. said its Nynex Information Technologies unit has joined forces with Metromail Corp., a unit of R.R. Donnelley & Sons Co., to enter the emerging market for computerized listings of national telephone numbers on compact disc. The alliance will allow Nynex to sell an expanded national telephone list to business customers.
