Eleanor Powers, 72, a homemaker, died Wednesday in the Americana Nursing Home, Elk Grove Village. Mrs. Powers is survived by two sons, Dennis and Donald; two daughters, Denise Shefka and Patricia Plants; a sister; 12 grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren. Mass was said Saturday in Highwood.
