National Press Club president Kathryn Kahler is one of 15 U.S. journalists wrapping up a two-week tour of the Soviet Union. ”We hope to return with stories about how the Soviets are restructuring their defense, economic and criminal justice systems,” says Kahler, a reporter for the Newhouse News Service in Washington. ”And from talking with people on the street, we hope to get a better sense of the changes going on.”
