An exhibit of World War II memorabilia will open Saturday-on the anniversary of the Japanese attack on Pearl Harbor-at America`s Scrapbook, an antiques shop specializing in advertising, posters and other Americana.
”The war was very real to us,” said Ken Kapson, owner of the shop, whose father was a pilot in the Air Force.
Kapson has collected hundreds of items, some of which are available for a few dollars.
The exhibit will last until Jan. 10 at the Chicago Riverfront Antique Mart, 2929 N. Western Ave.
