I was very offended to have seen the so-called ”Updated Map of Yugoslavia” cartoon on your editorial page of Nov. 20. It was shocking to see a well-read nationwide newspaper belittle the Croatian and Slovenian struggle for freedom and make a joke of their realistic effort to break away from communist rule by calling it ”Insania,” ”Moronia,” etc.

I believe that the cartoonist, along with the editors, owe all Croatians and Slovenians an apology and retraction.
