Traci Cichowski of Northbrook and Carrie Ryan of West Chicago are co-captains of the Illinois State swimming team. Ryan, a junior, and Cichowski, a senior, were All-Gateway Conference selections last season. Cichowski specializes in the freestyle, while Ryan swims the backstroke, freestyle and individual medley.
