The village plans to put up four sirens for tornado and severe-storm warnings, said Mark Fleishman, assistant coordinator of the village Emergency Services and Disaster Agency.
The installation requires special-use permits, and the request for them will go to the Plan Commission in January, then the Zoning Board of Appeals and Village Board, Fleishman said Tuesday.
