An Aurora City Council committee has recommended that the full council approve a reorganization of City Hall introduced by Mayor David Pierce.
Essentially, the reorganization shifts responsibilities among four of the city`s nine department heads. Pierce said it would strengthen neighborhood programs, consolidate economic and community development, enable public works to concentrate on new construction and put all public maintenance under the direction of Tom Weisner, who will head the Public Property Department.
