Eunice M. Tobin, 62, a longtime Democratic political activist on the North Shore who was also half of the team of parodists Stern and Tobin, died Sunday in Santa Barbara, Calif., while visiting. She and her stage partner, Grace Mary Stern, state representative from Highland Park, began performing musical programs, including political satire, at PTA meetings and eventually at national conventions for feminists and women`s groups. Mrs. Tobin is survived by her husband, Dr. Arnold D.; her mother, Dorothy Damond; four sons, Joseph, Lawrence, Jeffery and Daniel; five grandchildren; and a sister. A memorial gathering will be at 3 p.m. Friday in the Highland Park Women`s Club, 1919 Sheridan Rd., Highland Park.
