Congratulations on your health and aging series. I am pleased that the American public is being made aware that diet and exercise play a paramount role in good health. As the scientific community becomes more knowledgeable of the benefits of nutrition, exercise and stress management, the result will be one of improved health and increased lifespan for all.

We must strive to make important changes in our traditional diets. Research shows that by removing potential cancer-causing animal products from our diets and consuming foods such as whole grains, legumes, fruits and vegetables we can substantially reduce our risk of cancer and heart disease. My family and friends who have followed this advice continue to benefit from it.
