Recently, Paul Obis wrote to suggest using the long plastic bags the Tribune gets delivered in as boot liners to keep your feet warm and dry.
I would like to extend his idea a bit further and suggest using them as liners inside your mittens or using them outside your mittens or gloves as you pump gas-it helps keep your hands warm and your gloves clean of gasoline odors.
